Nicola Murray is an effective media communicator and trainer with over twenty years experience in the broadcast media, working for the BBC and Channel 4.
In her current role as director of Soundright Media, Nicola 
uses her experience and extensive contacts to show company directors, key staff and PR professionals how to get the most out of the media.
Nicola is an award winning senior broadcast journalist. As Planning Editor for BBC Radio 4 and Radio 5 Live Business Programmes and as News Editor for BBC Radio Solent, Nicola is used to managing daily news output, often under pressure and working to tight deadlines.
Her on air roles have included general and specialist (business and politics) reporting as well as live programme presentation and production.
As Special Projects Manager, Nicola created brand new radio programmes and also set up and directed various substantial award winning live outside broadcasts both in the UK and abroad.
Prior to working in broadcast media, Nicola spent several years employed in the City as an investment sales analyst specialising in precious metals. Her employers included HSBC and Swiss Bank Corporation.
